THIRTEEN GHOST HISTORY

The Thirteen Ghosts began back in the days of the original Xbox on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2. There was no website back then, so we were all pulled together by this one game.

Every night there would be a number of us online and we soon became great friends. Clan Matches followed and we enjoyed playing both for fun amongst ourselves and competitively against other clans.

This group continued to thrive into the next Ghost Recon release and onto the Xbox 360. By this time, Darth Phatboy began investigating the possibilities of a website to use as a central meeting place for the Ghosts.

A common ground in the games we played and some cross over in jobs and interests ensured that there was never a Ghost that didn't feel part of the clan. Of course, people have come and gone, but a core of Ghosts has always remained constant.

Today, the Thirteen Ghosts regularly play GRAW2 of course, but also COD4/5 and Rainbow 6. The military interest is the hub of what we do, encouraging us to meet up sometimes twice yearly at Warfighters to play the games for "real".

The Thirteen Ghosts still compete in clan matches and train every week. The overriding factor of this clan, however, is friendship. If you get a chance to be one of the Ghosts, grab it with both hands. You will not find another clan quite like it.

4. "Uncle" Billy 13 Ghosts:  Straight laced and formal...until that Spiced Rum comes out!
